Fortune Auto has sourced a thermal barrier from a local aerospace manufacturer. For many years aeronautical agencies like NASA have used heat reflective gold foil on satellites and various space crafts. Our sourced foil is actually made of 22k gold. capable of reflecting 78% of all radiant heat with continuous operating temperatures of 450 degrees centigrade. The material is metalized polyamide polymer laminated glass cloth with a high temperature pressure sensitive adhesive.

Typical applications include but are not limited to, intercooler pipes, intercoolers, intakes, airboxes, engine covers, coilovers, under trays/floors, seat bottoms, fire walls and bulkheads. The minimum air gap to heat source is just 1mm!
